Walmart Has Made Their Own Dunk-A-Roos And They Are Everything You've Been Missing

Growing up in the 90s meant you got to experience a lot of things. The peak of boy bands, Olsen twin mania, and a lot of plaid outfits.

While we lived through all of these iconic moments we snacked on some pretty awesome things.

Planters Cheez Balls were absolutely heaven sent

Cosmic Brownies were (and still are) the best part of your your lunch

Koolaid had flavors that we couldn't get enough of

If you were lucky enough to get a Lunchables you were the envy of everyone in your class

Cookie Crisp and Oreo O's cereal was somehow considered breakfast even though they were just tiny cookies

Fruit Roll-ups and Fruit by the Foot were the only kind of fruit we actually wanted

Dinosaur Eggs Oatmeal tricked us into eating whole grains

Our Ketchup was purple

And our pizza was on a bagel

But there was one treat, one magnificent and glorious treasure that we all loved more than any other. Those treats? Dunk-a-roos.

Dunk-a-roos were such a simple concept. A bunch of little cookies and a small amount of frosting to put on your little cookies.

Who knew something so simple could be so delicious?

They were launched in 1990 and were popular until 2012 when they were discontinued in the U.S., although you can still get them in Canada. Which prompted General Mills to announce a campaign called "Smugglaroos"to help bring Dunk-A-Roos to Americans who still want them whenever they visit.

But honestly, why did they take them away if they were so popular?

Even though General Mills seems to be a little bit confused, Walmart seems to have our backs. They have made their own version of Dunk-a-roos and we are so here for it.

Here's what you've got to look for:

Dunk-A-Roos Are Back - Sort Of...

Walmart seems to have realized that as adults, we no longer need those small packages. Instead, they made a big tub that is split in two, with half of it filled with icing and the other half filled with glorious shortbread cookies.

The little cookies look absolutely amazing on their own, but the fact that they come with a rainbow chip icing is just so perfect.

The cookies are called Dunk 'N Crunch, so while they can't legally call themselves Dunk-A-Roos, the Dunk 'N Crunch cookies look like they will be a satisfactory substitute for everyone's favorite cookies.

The only potential downside is that they aren't easy to travel with if you have some kind of desire for a smaller side. Obviously that desire is unnecessary though, because a tub of cookies is the appropriate amount of cookies.

The best thing about it is the comment that the person who found them said. "Dear Walmart, I know I could do this myself. I know that the Dunkaroos were in us all along. But thank you for putting it all in one package for me again so I don't have to. I actually like your take on it with shortbread cookies. So again, thank you."
