If you grew up in the 80s, your childhood photos are probably printed on the iconic squares that show they were taken by a Polaroid camera. Snapping a picture, taking it out of your camera, and shaking it until it developed was a ritual everyone learned, but Polaroid's instant cameras gradually became less popular. Today's cameras - and even our phones - take really great photos, but there was just something cool about taking a picture and watching it develop before your eyes.
