The "Mary Poppins" Sequel Looks Sweeter Than A Spoonful Of Sugar
"Winds in the east, mist coming in. Like somethin' is brewin' and bout to begin..."

The movie has been in the works since Disney announced the project back in 2015, but filming officially began in February of 2017.
With an array of celebrity faces already featured in the promos, we're expecting nothing less than a show-stopping musical extravaganza that promises to be practically perfect in every way!

There are some familiar characters that can be seen in the photos so far, and we've found out the early threads of a plot line.
However, it appears that the sequel's story will be much darker than the upbeat original.
A preview of the story shows us that things have not been the easiest for the family since Mary Poppins last saw them.
The plot focuses on Michael Banks and his new family, 20 years after the events of the first movie. Set in the Depression, the family has just gone through a terrible loss of some kind, and it seems that one magical nanny felt it was the right time to check in on her little ones.
