Aaron Carter Was A Huge Star Back In the Day, But What Is He Up To Now?
Aaron Carter is one of those 90s pop stars that a lot of people were obsessed with in the 90s. He was one of the younger singers, so the little kids finally had someone more reasonable to have a crush on. More importantly, his preteen music was just what they needed for all those school dances.
As the younger brother of Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, he had a lot to live up to. It wasn't always easy, but he managed to stand out with singles like "I Want Candy", "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)", and "That's How I Beat Shaq".
He also had a fairly famous teen romance with another early Millennium star, Hilary Duff. They were young and in love for a while, but it didn't last.
While you may not hear about him a lot anymore, it doesn't mean he isn't still performing. The singer actually has recently had a few shows, but what people remember most is his legal troubles.
Even though he is still making music, it's his legal issues that have been catching the most attention lately...
Aaron Carter was once a blonde-haired child star with a mushroom cut, but now he is an adult with slightly less of a mushroom cut.
The singer recently had a huge problem with the law when he was arrested and charged with a DUI and possession. He was sitting in a vehicle while parked when cops arrived and arrested him for being behind the wheel. His publicist, Jonathan Ward, claims that Carter was not driving at the time and should not have been arrested.
He said that Carter was "traveling non-stop doing promotions... when his automobile had a new tire put on it and it went out of alignment. Aaron drove the vehicle to the nearest Auto Zone (and) after being at the store and requesting help to get his alignment fixed, he was arrested inside by several police officers with aggression. The police also revoked his rights to have an attorney."
He was able to make bail to get out of jail, and claims that he is committed to working on himself. He was advised to seek treatment from the cast of The Doctors but he has not yet taken their advice.
He has instead refocused on his music, promoting his future performances and plugging his songs.
