20 Years Later The Cast Of That Thing You Do Reunited, And You Better Believe They Sang
It's been more than 20 years since the "Oneders" took the stage with their hit song That Thing You Do, but that doesn't mean they can't still rock out with the best of them. Most of the band reunited to sing their famous song one more time and it was pretty epic.
The movie came out in 1996 and was written and directed by Tom Hanks. It followed the story of the band the "Oneders", later renamed the "Wonders", in the 1960s. The movie starred Tom Everett Scott, Jonathon Schaech, Steve Zahn and Ethan Embry as the band as well as Liv Tyler and Tom Hanks.
The movie was a fun look at the life of a band, but apparently that band lasts a lifetime! The Wonders/Oneders got back together for a performance at the "Goddamn Comedy Jam" and it was a blast from the past.
He tweeted out a photo of the three men all grown up but still wearing their matching outfits.
They all played their parts in the song with the other band to help fill in for Steve Zahn.
The group was super excited to take part in the event and shared a bunch of videos all over their social media.
Check out how they sound twenty years later! It's pretty hilarious how excited they all look to be back on stage.
If you haven't seen the movie, I believe it is on Netflix and you should definitely check it out. Anything with Tom Hanks is an immediate win so it's absolutely worth the watch!
